Music?!
Well, let's see... Hi again! Dante here...
Did you like the start? Yeah, me neither. So, I promised you that I'd come with more this time, but i don't even know which topic I should approach. I don't feel like telling jokes or something like that... Oh, I found something. Let's talk about music. Of course, this is always a contradicting topic, because everyone have their one criterion for what they want to listen to. If you were to take all the genres and to analyze them all, you'll find something like: hip-hop is too dirty, rock is too loud, blues is too slow, instrumental songs (like piano songs) are too boring etc. But you can find in every genre at least a song that you'd like (of course, there are exceptions), which -for you and maybe other people- seems different than other songs, even if you say that you don't like that genre. There are songs that you listen to because they express the way that you're feeling, or you like the message that they're transmitting, or maybe you just like the rhythm. There are many and many reasons for a song to be liked by people.
I admit that until some time ago, I just listened to music because I just liked what I was hearing. Weird, huh? However, now I don't just listen to the song, I listen to the message that is expressing, and it's giving me a certain feeling, depending on the lyrics. For example, if I am sad I usually listen to sad songs, of course. But that's a "double-edged sword". This kind of songs can make me feel better, but they can make me feel worse too. Of course, sometimes I combine them with songs that give me strength and faith. This way, a heart can be healed by songs. You don't believe me? Well, you don't have too.
I think that some people can find themselves, or their story in a song. Of course, they change and find another song who represents them. Have you ever think thought of that? Well, I did. A few minutes ago, I found a song named Stranger, by Secondhand Serenade, which I think it could represent me a few weeks ago [don't ask]. However, I listened to it only three times, but i keep pushing the replay button xD. I'll post something about this band, but later.
Let's call a day here. Until next weekend I leave you with my sister (not my real sister), which is helping me on this blog. Love you sis! :X
